3 Free image editting apps
#1
I personally prefer using Photoshop, but because of the cost, alot of people would not have access to it.

Here are some useful free options for your graphics needs

Gimp:
This is quite similar to Photoshop as a desktop Image Manipulation Program.
Quote:GIMP is a cross-platform image editor available for GNU/Linux, OS X, Windows and more operating systems. It is free software, you can change its source code and distribute your changes. Whether you are a graphic designer, photographer, illustrator, or scientist, GIMP provides you with sophisticated tools to get your job done. You can further enhance your productivity with GIMP thanks to many customization options and 3rd party plugins.

PIXLR:

Pixlr is a great online tool for image manipulation. No downloading necessary. Its 100% browser based, so saying that it does have its limitations.

Befunky

Another online Photo Manipulation application similar to Pixlr, with similar limitations to other only editting software
Quote:Fun is literally BeFunky's middle name (no, really! be-FUN-ky) With BeFunky's photo editor, you can play with hundreds of amazing photo effects that you can't find anywhere else, like our world-famous Cartoonizer®, oil painting, and pop art effects.
